Janice M. (Hendryx) Motta

Janice M. Motta (nee Hendryx), age 88, of Willoughby and former longtime resident of Wickliffe, passed away peacefully January 6, 2026. Janice was born August 27, 1937 in Lakewood, OH.

Janice was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church where she was also a member of the Mt. Carmel Society and a former Eucharistic Minister. She also belonged the American Legion Brewer Tarasco Post 7 Ladies Auxiliary. Janice loved gardening, working on word searches, traveling and visiting with friends and family.

Janice was the beloved wife of the late William J.; loving mother of Gary (Sharon) and Phillip (Robin); devoted grandmother of Lou, Rocco, Caitlin Kordeleski (Zachary), Marissa, Dominic, Rosalia, Samuel Huey (Theresa) and great grandmother of Ian, Maeve and Matilda; dear sister of Dale (Sandy) Hendryx.

The family will receive friends at THE ORLANDO-DONSANTE-PREVITE FUNERAL HOME 29550 EUCLID AVE., WICKLIFFE, ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 16th FROM 4:00 TO 8:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 17th at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Inurnment will be in Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Hts. at later date.
